Contract ratification for local 1635 Part time
On December 29th, the local 1635 part time unit ratified a five-year contract.
Some highlights from the new agreement are as follows.
1. No give backs all gains.
2. Extra holiday added Juneteenth
3. Extra step increase in 2024
4. Fifteen percent pay raise over five years
5. Retro check from July 2022 will be issued once the contract is signed.
Members who have retired or been terminated before the new contract,
Is finalized are not eligible to receive a retro payment.
Total pay increase of 15% as follows.
July 1, 2022-2.50%
July 1,2023-3.25%
July 1,2024-3.25%
July1,2025-3.0%
July1,2026-3.0%
